Ethiopia: Tuesday, May 14th. 2013

Another yummy breakfast to start our day & on the road we went!! Jemo for the morning & a visit to Kind Hearts Care Point in the afternoon!! Another wonderful, interesting, overwhelming, awesome day!! On our drive to memo, we made a stop at a bank to convert $$, and then Hilena & Fikre went and purchased the goats for our Thursday feast!! After a while of sitting in the warm bus, 6 goats rounded the corner & a few men too!! These men tied up the goats & Chad helped hoist them up onto the top of our van! The drive to Jemo with the goats was a tad noisy...the goats were a little unsure of what to think of being up there, Grant was cracking up!!

Once we arrived at Jemo, the men hauled the goats down & they wandered around the compound for the next day enjoying nibbling on the grass...oh, poor little goats, they had no idea what they were in for!! The photo below is of my dad with his other little sponsor son, Buzanesh & his father. I love this photo...2 men that love little Buzanesh!! He was such a sweet little guy who has been on my heart a lot. You see, after the 1st day, my dad noticed him limping around...my dad asked one of the staff if he was ok...long story short, apparently he had been in the countryside & came down with some sort of allergy/sickness...his little legs are beyond sore, to the point of making it very uncomfortable to walk. My dad pressed a little further after a few days there & he was eventually taken to the clinic & then sent to a specialist...we still haven't heard the results of his testing, but we know he is in great hands of our Healer!!! Would you please pray for little Buzanesh? Pray that his legs/skin have miraculously healed!! When he was around the other children, you could see he really wanted to play with them, jump around, giggle...but, it was obvious he was in alot of pain which kept him from doing those things..
This is our Yordanoses brothers...such kindhearted boys!! It was such a joy for me to meet her siblings & parents!!
Precious Desalegn..he loved having his picture taken!! What a sweet, sweet boy!!
The guys hard at work!!

3 little peanuts!! How cute are they!!?

Adanech & I:)
the boys!!
After playing with the children, having lunch etc..we headed out to the Kind Hearts care point!! What a beautiful area!! We were able to share a snack with the children & the children shared a few songs with us & then we painted many little fingernails that day!! The boys played games while we pampered the girls:)

 the tree of LIFE!!

After our time at Kind Hearts, we headed back to Jemo to share a snack with our kiddos there & then had dinner at the guest house that evening!! Another memorable day in Ethiopia!!
