What a beautiful last week it has been!! Summer has finally arrived & we are soaking in every minute we can get!! Our city has been affected by a major flood, so the local zoo was shut down for a while...which was obviously so minor compared to everything else that Bismarck has had to deal with...but Friday it did open up again....so we enjoyed an afternoon with my sister & her kids!!
Since it is 4th of July wknd...we have been surrounded by family & friends, which is so fun!! My cousin & his girlfriend flew in from Florida & have been spending this past week at my parents house...so, we've had many family suppers, get togethers etc!! Today we ventured out to the Art's In The park...got away with two Beautiful Baskets made in Ghana & Awesome Shea butter that's great for the boys' hair & skin!! Oh...and, of course we had ice cream!!
Tonight we had my family over for dinner & bonfire...fun was had by all!! Hope your 4th is filled with fun, family memories.... last year at this time, we were so anxiously waiting to get on that plane to meet & pick up Ageze & Tesfa....we so wished they would have been home for the 4th last year...and here we are...1 yr later...they have their 4th of July clothes folded next to their beds, ready to jump into them first thing tomorrow am, they have as much understanding as they can about what the 4th means & they are beginning to grasp the idea of fireworks...which just lights their eyes up!!!
But as we sit here...1 yr later...we are now waiting for our Daughter...today I sat in the yard just thinking about her...wishing she was home so she could celebrate tomorrow with us...soon, sweet "A"...soon!!!
We received a video of "A" yesterday...oh my!!! She is sitting in her little classroom, singing her little heart out!! We've watched it over & over...Thank's so much Dawn!! xo
