weekend fun:)

What a nice weekend we all had!! Saturday evening we had friends over for snacks, hot-tubbing and movies...and Sunday, Ageze & Tesfa experienced their 1st trip to the Pumpkin Patch!! Grant & Kate were sooo excited for them...haybales, corn-mazes, pumpkins:) We had a fun time, despite the cold temps:( Yep, it's that time of year again...hmmm...which southern state would best suit our family??? We then headed to Texas Roadhouse for 6 cups of chili!!! We ended our Sunday with a delicious dinner at my parents, hot-tubbin with the kiddos, and Grandma..and off to bed we went!!! Grant & Kate's Classes are participating in Homecoming week this week, so each day they are to dress in something different...hat day, superhero day, class color day...etc!! So, this morning they were excited to be looking a bit different than usual!! I'll leave you with a few pics from the "Patch!!"     P.S....have to share a funny comment Grant made...Our socialworker (Lindsey, with God's Child adoption agency) came over on Saturday for a post-placement visit, and as she arrived, Grant yelled..."Mom, social services is here!!"  gotta admit, i think my heart skipped a beat or two!! Needless to say, him & I had a kid-friendly conversation on how a social worker (like Lindsey), and social services differs... Ha!!:) xo kristen
