Day 6 in Ethiopia!!!

This was our Embassy Day!!!At about 8:30 we were picked up at our Guest House, and traveled with Mitin, Lelena, and the other family with our agency...to the Embassy!!! It felt like a longer than usual drive...but we arrived with Ageze & Tesfa, and everything went very smooth...that is, until the security took Ageze's toy cell phone away, because of the noise it was making!!!  I'm sure they re-thought that decision once they heard the noise he was making...he was MUCH louder than his cell-phone!!HA!! After about 2 hours of waiting...going shinty(pee) approx. 20 times, and having heat-stroke..our names were called over the loud speaker, to window 4!! There we met a woman who asked us a few questions, raised our right hand, signed papers, and on our way we went!!! We then went to The Hilton, for a celebratory lunch, and did a bit of shopping!! Overall, it was a fun, new-experience kind-of a day!!!  xo kristen
